PAST ACTIVITIES in APRIL:

April’s Club activity was the Annual One Day A’vair, Corvair Car Show & Swap Meet. It was held at the regular Spot, the Rainbow Oaks Park, and was well attended by representatives from several different Corvair Clubs. We had around a dozen nice Corvairs + 3 or 4 vendors with some nice ‘stuff’ and quite a few visitors.

Thank You to All who attended & enjoyed a beautiful day.

THIS MONTH, MAY’S, ACTIVITIES:

Rescheduled: 5/3, Saturday, 9:00am~2:00 ~ Heartbeat of America Car Show @ Bates Nut Farm

This event was postponed due to inclement weather on 4/26/26…Hope you can be there!

5/9, Saturday, 9:00am~3:00 ~ SDAM’s Shifting Gears Cruise (from Ignite Acadamy to Bates Nut Farm). $75 per car (2 people) Includes continental breakfast + lunch & swag! More details to follow.

5/17, Sunday Meet-Up for lunch @ Orfila Winery… Meet @ Kit Carson Park 11:30 and take a cruise through the backroads to the winery ~ OR ~ Just meet up with fellow club members at the winery (Orfila Winery, 13455 San Pasqual Road, Escondido) as we arrive around 12:30. Join in and have a nice lunch, club camaraderie & enjoy the scenic venue with live music starting @ 1:30!

6/22-24, National Corvair Convention, Gettysburg… celebrate our nation’s 250th anniversary at the Corvair Convention! Register ASAP & see historic Gettysburg, Pa. (2026 Corvair Society of America (CORSA) International Convention )

Friday 6/26~Sunday 6/28 ~ Vairfest by Central Coast CORSA … For those who can’t get all the way to Gettysburg come on up to the Annual All-Corvair Show in Arroyo Grande.

(Tent. 7/16, Thursday) Encinitas Cruise Night… We are looking at buying a reserved area like last year. This will cost the club $150 and we will have room for 15 cars. Stay tuned for more details!
