SDCC ACTIVITIES

PAST ACTIVITIES in MAY:

May’s Club activity was a Meet-Up for lunch at Orfila Winery. Due to various issues, the Poker Run was postponed to a future date, but Lydia M. won the (unofficial) Poker Hand (no prize, just braggin’ rights!) and we had a very nice ‘Get-Together’, swapped a few Corvair stories and heard about Jon & Carol’s excellent adventures in Europe!

Thank You to All who attended & enjoyed a beautiful day.

THIS MONTH, JUNE’S, ACTIVITIES:

Our San Diego Corvair Club will be well represented at this year’s Convention by at least 2 of our members: Paul & Lydia M. and Ron D. We all hope they have a good time at this special convention which will celebrate our country’s 250 Anniversary in Gettysburg, PA! Go SDCC!

THIS MONTH, JUNE’S, ACTIVITIES:

This month's 'Activity' will be a HANDS ON Tech session along with a quick Officers' meeting & Social get together afterwards.

~ At Ruthi McCann's, home: SOLEDAD MOUNTAIN RD., LA JOLLA

~ Tuesday, 6/30 @ 6:30 ~ 8:00pm +/-. (Sunset is at 8:01, 7th longest day of the year!)

We will be diagnosing her carburetor problems and hopefully getting her back on the road in her beautiful, beloved Corvair!

The SDCC will provide Pizza & Soft Drinks/Waters.

We currently have 7 members attending. All members are invited.

If you haven't RSVP'd please do so by Monday 7/29 at the latest.

PS: You may want to bring a folding chair for yourself.

AND: If you cannot make this event, remember that our regular business meeting is on 7/9 back at the Architects Office.

6/22-24, National Corvair Convention, Gettysburg… celebrate our nation’s 250th anniversary at the Corvair Convention! Register ASAP & see historic Gettysburg, Pa. (2026 Corvair Society of America (CORSA) International Convention )

Friday 6/26~Sunday 6/28 ~ Vairfest by Central Coast CORSA … For those who can’t get all the way to Gettysburg come on up to the Annual All-Corvair Show in Arroyo Grande.

JULY:

(Tent. 7/16, Thursday) Encinitas Cruise Night… We are looking at buying a reserved area like last year. This will cost the club $150 and we will have room for 15 cars. Stay tuned for more details!
